Who is ClosingProtection.com?

ClosingProtection.com is a service of First American Title Insurance. The site was
designed to make the process of verifying Agent and generating Closing Protection
Letters (CPL) simple and painless.

How does the system work?
|
For Agent, you simply register for a free account and then you have the choice to
verify an Agent is in good standing with First American or you can generate a CPL.
For Agent verification you enter an Agent name and business name it is matched against
our active Agent database to ensure the Agent is authorized to write a policy for
you and they are in good standing with First American. If they match, an authorization
letter is generated for you to print out and save for your records if you choose.
If they are not an Agent in good standing then the system will inform you.
For CPLs, as with the verification system you verify the Agent and then fill in
your contact information and the CPL is faxed to you.
Agents can generate official verification letters for who they provide services.
Simply register for an account and fill in your contact information then generate
your verification letters.

I have lost my password. How do I get it back?

If you have lost your password, notify your State Administrator (Contact Information
Is Found Here) and have him or her retrieve your password
for you.

Are Items like Passwords Case Sensitive?
|
|
No, all items are Case Insensitive and can be typed in any form of upper or lower
case characters
